When Stansefabrikken, in the summer of 2002, decided to establish production abroad, their choice became Ukmergė, a middle sized industrial city in the middle of Lithuania.
 
After close investigation of possibilities, we discovered the possibility of creating synergy between companies in the same situation, and in this way get even better effect of the establishment. This thought is supported by the principle that it's no use having low labour costs, if all the other costs are not kept at a minimum.
 
Based on this idea Stansefabrikken has established UAB Ukmergės Pramonės Parkas. This is a small industry park with modern facilities suitable for production, and maximum possibility of synergy between companies.
 
What's offered in Ukmergės Pramonės Parkas
 
The established facility is a completely renovated factory suitable for most kind of industrial production. With more than 20.000 square meters of renovated facilities rented by different kind of production companies the industrial park today has become exactly what we hoped for in 2003.
 
The building is insulated with new walls, roof and windows. Together with a new heating and ventilation systems this will provide good working conditions for quality production. All infrastructure is prepared and ready for use. A new floor designed for industrial production is in place.
 
Manned reception and switchboard, conference room, wardrobes, rest room and kitchen are included in the rent as well as services like guards, cleaning and maintenance.
 
In the Industrial Park there is a possibility for sharing of IT, telephony, management, salary and accounting. There is even a transport company established.
 
All this, to get maximum synergy and minimal overhead costs, so that the companies in the Industrial Park only have to focus on their own production.
