Stamping

SFA

Progressive stamping is a cost effective technology in mass production volume.

Our presses are fully automated; they are supported with both progressive and transfer tooling. Thanks to a unique system, presses allow for quick punch replacement.

Our biggest punching line with a 1,300-ton press can accommodate punches of up to 30 tons and parts measuring up to 4,500x1,800 mm.

We produce car parts from soft steel of up to 12 mm in thickness and 1,600 mm in width. Another advantage is that the 1,300-ton press is technologically linked with a degreasing line. This ensures short production leads and effective cost control.

The plant also employs several 400-ton presses linked into compact lines and equipped with metal band unrolling and feeding lines. The rolls of extra-hardness steel of up to 6 mm thick can be fed into oversize (up to 2,500x1,400 mm) punches. The 400-ton presses are linked into a common tooling (punching) replacement system which allows replacing a stamp in under 10 minutes.

Additionally, Stansefabrikken Automotive employs several up to 400-ton presses for other production operations. The presses are equipped with modern punch replacement systems that cut replacement time to just several minutes.
