From 1932 to modern day, here are some of the main events in the long history of Stansefabrikken group

1932 Den Norske Stansefabrikk starts production in Norway
Den Norske Stansefabrikk (DNS) was established in 1932, and was located in the most central part of the city of Oslo.
1985 Stansefabrikken AS is established
When bankruptcy in Den Norske Stansefabikk (DNS) was declared some of the previous employees decided to buy the bankrupt company, and Stansefabrikken AS was established.
1989 Large order from Bang & Olufsen
In 1989, the well-known international electronic company, Bang & Olufsen (B&O) placed a large order at Stansefabrikken.
1997 ABB factory is acquired
Stansefabrikken acquired ABB's factory in Fredrikstad with production of electrical cabinets.
2001 Nic B.Sandberg is acquired
A new business area is established with the purchase of the mailbox company from Lillehammer.
2003 Establishing in Lithuania
Establishment of an industrial park and a production company in Lithuania.
2006 Sales company Stansefabrikken Product is established
Mailboxes and electrical cabinets are transferred to a new sales company.
2007 Automotive factory is established in Lithuania
A separate factory with large coil presses is established in our industrial park
2007 Sales office in Sweden is established
To support both the automotive and sub-supplying factories we established our own sales office in Sweden.
2008 Change of CEO
Jon R. Westby took over as CEO after Magne Vidar Skorstad.
2019 Larel AS acquiried
In the merger with Stansefabrikken Products AS, Larel AS added expertise, products and solutions in electrical engineering, especially in housing, industry and infrastructure.
2019 Stansefabrikken Home is established
Sales of mailbox solutions are separated from electrical products.
2020 Stansefabrikken Germany is established
To be closer to the car and industrial market, a sales office was established in Germany
